I created this on PC Part Picker which matches the hardware of the Soundgrid Extreme Server - they might have some PCIE cards for networking that I don't know about and maybe MADI interfaces, but the cost of this build is less than half the price of what they list their soundgrid extreme server for. Even just upgrading from the Impact Server to the Server One and the Extreme Server - the change in hardware doesn't warrant for that significant increase in price - which is from what understand, what you are paying for. However I was looking at the prices of these servers, and imo, they are a bit pricey. (I know you can use Multitrack native, but their Soundgrid servers are supposed to have lower latency and more stability.) Product evaluation also benefits from this experience ensuring that when products are tested, they meet the needs of those working in studios every day.So I just discovered the amazingness of Waves and their Soundgrid servers - giving you the ability to use their plugins live.
